I quite love Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Bennet when Mr. Darcy asked what encourages affection, 'dancing', she answered. I wine and dine Shanghai several times and I am afraid the fascination has begun to wear off. A vivacious lady she first seemed but behind the smoke and mirrors, quite a brute in reality. My January visit to Shanghai was therefore the last dance.
