Less Is More, And More Is?!

Argento Tatsuji ASO

Argento is a beautiful Italian restaurant embodied all glamours of Ginza.

A sweeping panoramic view of the city's most affluent district accompanies the haven's posh interio. Its presentation is impeccable. The spring theme was delicately knitted with the Swarovski butterfly table decor and the 'bouquetful' of petit fours. When we had lunch there, my husband was the only gentleman in the restaurant besides the staff. The tables were far from one another so I could not figure out subjects of other elegant ladies gathering but let me guess - love is in the air, bridal showers?

Dons de la Nature

The wagyu lover's paradise is tucked away in the basement of a Ginza commercial building. The calm and private atmosphere reminds its guests the time to take a cigar break with a shot of Whisky. The meticulous chef only serves the best wagyu: tenderloin(lean), sirloin, marbled sirloin(extremely fatty) and he masters the art of flame. Even the grilled Brussels sprout siding the steak was done to crisp perfection. The beautiful smooth consomme melted away winter blues. This time, the restaurant was like a gentleman's club and being the only lady, I got to hold the entire raw wagyu loin, yeah!!!

p.s. Have your cardiologist stand by.

Jessica,

Thank you! This is my way of remembering about the wonderful feasts from the trip :)

Monica,

Huang,
Easter Break in Tokyo!

Christina,

My bag is fully the make up stuff plus sandles :-)

*Traveling... on my friend's laptop, cannot type Chinese.*

Yvonne,
It's nice to see you here!

Echo,
I used white pencil for the 'marble effect' after the base watercolor dried up. White pencil is a magical tool :)

christina,
Mainstream Japanese love the eternal youthful look of Lolita... I'm not into the girly stuff. I like gender neutral and subtlety, more Jil Sander.

Monica,
I'm just lazy... Make-up is a beautiful art and a personal habit(your avatar photo looks great so why not :)
